Print Mania

Last weekend was gorgeous! The sun finally came out and it was the perfect day for a walk along a local trail. It was a Saturday, so I wanted to wear something comfy with patterns that I typically wouldn't wear to work. I decided to pair aztec-print Harem leggings with an oversized, boxy peplum tee. I love mixing prints probably a little more than the average person, but this was still a really bold look for me. The resulting outfit was fun, sporty, print-heavy and so comfortable, it felt like I was wearing pajamas.

Straight Hair

For the past few years now, I've limited straightening my hair to just once a year. I had significant heat damage at one point, and the whole ordeal emotionally scarred me for life. Ha... I'm kidding. I just honestly prefer my kinky, curly, coily hair. Anyway, since I got my hair straightened, I  decided to get a trim and moisture treatment while I was at it. The result: pure awesomeness. To maintain the beautiful spirals/shirley temple curls, I put pin curls in my hair at night. Pics of my various success below.

Trench

I recently ordered a hooded trench coat for Spring. It's lightweight and super functional with its large hood. Trench coats tend to be very chic & sophisticated, so I contrasted the coat with a super casual comic tee & jeans. I love the combination of dressy and casual & was happy with the resulting look.
